Crispy Oat Dosas
Oat flour adds a delicious taste and texture to this crispy and flavourful South Indian staple, best served with your favourite chutneys.
1 cup Quaker® Oat Flour
1/3 cup plain yogurt
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups water
1/4 cup finely chopped shallots
Ghee for drizzling
How to make it
- In a bowl whisk together oat flour, yogurt, salt, and water to form a smooth batter.
- Heat a large frying pan on medium-low heat. Once hot. pour a ladleful of batter onto the centre of the pan, and spread in concentric circles to form dosa. Sprinkle chopped shallots over the surface, and drizzle with 2-3 tsp of ghee.
- Cook dosa for 5 minutes on the first side or until golden brown and crispy. Flip over, and cook the other side for 1 minute.
- Fold in half and serve with sambar, and your favourite chutneys. Enjoy!
