Sweet and Salty Fritos®
Ingredients:
1 bag (9.25 oz) Fritos® Original Corn Chips
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
How to make it:
- On large parchment paper–lined baking sheet, arrange Fritos® Original Corn Chips in an even layer.
- In medium saucepan set over medium-high heat, add sugar and corn syrup; bring to a boil. Boil, stirring frequently, for 2 to 3 minutes or until sugar is melted.
- Stir in peanut butter. Cook, stirring frequently, for 1 to 2 minutes or until peanut butter is melted and mixture is smooth and blended.
- Drizzle peanut butter mixture over corn chips. Drizzle with melted chocolate chips. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
Tip: If desired, top with toasted sweetened flaked coconut, chopped nuts or chopped dried fruit before serving.
