Created to help bridge the funding gap for founders, the Stacy’s Rise Project™ in the US has been connecting and empowering women-founded small business owners for years. But Stacy’s® Pita Chips wasn’t always a household name. Marketing, mentorship, and monetary support helped this brand rise from a humble sandwich cart to nationwide distribution. The Stacy’s brand believes that these same resources are what today’s women entrepreneurs need to succeed — now, more than ever. So that’s exactly what the Stacy’s brand in Canada is offering to 5 women-founded small business owners in their journey to make their dreams a reality with the Stacy’s Rise Project™.
If your business is selected you will receive:
Our expertise. Through a virtual mentorship program, we’ll connect you with PepsiCo leaders and other industry experts to help you grow your business.
Our financial support. We'll award a $25,000 CAD grant to 5 women-founded small businesses in Canada.
Ideal Applicants:
Your small business is run by or founded by one or more women. Your business is purpose-driven. You know you have an incredible product, and you are ready to invest in the most important part of your business - yourself.
To be eligible, applicants must:
Be a for-profit Canadian-based business
Be a woman-founder/woman-entrepreneur
Have women founders or current women ownership participants;
Have annualized sales of between $25,000 and $1M CAD.
Other eligibility criteria include that you:
Must be willing to participate in a virtual 16-week mentorship program
Must not be part of an accelerator program at the time of application
The Stacy’s Rise Project™ will accept applications from November 9 at 9:00 am ET through December 15, at 12:00 pm ET.
Applications will be reviewed by a judging panel according to the criteria outlined in the
Terms & Conditions.
Selected recipients will be notified by email and publicly announced in March 2024.
